Artist's CommentsThe Greek goddess of flowers, and the personification of spring. She is the spouse of Zephyrus. Her Roman equivalent is Flora. Chloris is also the name of a daughter of Niobe. She was the only child that was saved when Apollo and Artemis took their vengeance on Niobes children. Collaboration of:  &  I really enjoyed creating this with * silent-reverie. (She is so talented and is the one who gave me the nudge to give airbrushing a try with Painter!) We created practically everything here by painting, using some of my own brushes, and a couple of stock images. The only stocks we used was the beautiful girl ~lockstock and an urn which I found by doing a Google image search. I plan to make them into brushes soon. Hope you like it! the colors are so rich and wonderful..
i love the roses at the end of her dress..and the flower pot in the corner HAS
to be my favorite part..gosh this is just too nice for words you guys..
excellent job!
i have a tiny question though..cause i suck like that..hhe but..
as to why the dress is SO red..maybe if it were de-saturated a bit..made it
more of a mauve color..it seems like a dash of modern into a world from the past..
it still looks lovely, just the red on the dress sticks out a tad in my opinion..

Well, with the red dress, we did change it once to more bright and pinkish tones but decided to change it back to warm and earthy tones and kept the dress red since it symbolises fertility which a flower needs in or to pollenate.
