The raven calls as the sun goes down,
warm waters at my feet, the moister

I just decided to change the size a bit for personal reasons and to add a border to the sides for prints (hopefully it will be approved).

~slayryder & ~TheSquab for helping me sort out the details and that "shitty grass"!
ok..now im speechless...this work looks like a painting.. like a hand drawn painting.. how cai i achive that in photoshop??.. can you tell me how?...lol really its beautyful.. and your mothers poem.. lovely!..
I have a photoshop plugin called "neat image" that reduces the noise in images, and ran this over the woman to give her a very smooth look. I also use the smudge tool on a pretty low setting (around 20-30) and smudge in areas to give it a sort of painted look.
Here are a few tutorials that might help you achieve this look. They really helped me! [link] [link] [link]
Great piece Love the low saturations.
You should watch out more on the skin -- sometimes it is so smooth that some of the shadows look unrealistic. While her arm glows white, her hand is glowing gray. The tones and colors don't match very well. You can fix that with a layer of hue/saturation. Some sharpening on the outer edges on her body would look good too, to make her more distinct from the background (a part of her skirt looks like it could using more cutting).
Everything else is lovely though. I love how you painted the hair. It flows very nicely. The little details on the grass and vines are very well done.
I guess that I'll give you critique on a few pieces per day. Tell me if you want me to stop :]
you are really great with noticing detail! sometimes i get so lost in the image, and really miss a lot of things like that. thank you so much again hun. it means ALOT that you've taken the time out to help me improve.
Yeah I think a lot of ppl are afraid to give more critique in fear of hurting someone's feelings - but I think it's very helpful for me personally. I guess it depends on the way it's given. Some ppl can be hurtful and blunt with their opinions rather than trying to help.
